K-NEXT is a Japanese composer. He is a university student and mainly produces dance music such as Kawaii Future Bounce and Future Bass.
His music is dance music with a pop feel like Japanese music and a stylish K-pop feel. The distinctive vocal cut-ups give the songs a sense of comfort and a bit of mystery. He is also interested in cities and architecture, such as airports, which inspire his music.
He was born in Japan in 2002.
He learned to play the piano at a young age and began creating music with Apple's GarageBand and Korg's Gadget iPad App around 2016.
In 2017, when he became a high school student, he started composing music with the free version of FLstudio. He mainly made Future Bass. He struggled to create music while the free version did not allow him to save his projects.He later moved to the pro version.
He released First Flight in 2019, inspired by Future Bounce artists such as Aiobahn.
This song was used by various creators on Youtube and became his masterpiece.
In 2022, he participated in the compilation album "Kawaii Staion" by Korean trackmakers Author winds, for which he produced a song Blue.
In June 2023, his song METRO was adopted by the Valorant Masters Tokyo, a world gaming convention held in Japan, and was played at the event and on the Internet streaming.
